Orland Business Network Launches With a Packed Night of Connections
What a way to launch the Orland Business Network!
Last night, we held our very first event at Pollyanna Brewing Company in Lemont, and the response was better than we could have hoped for.
From the moment people started arriving, the room had great energy. Professionals were introducing themselves, making connections, exchanging ideas and genuinely enjoying the evening.
It was the perfect way to kick off this new group.
A Fantastic Space at Pollyanna Brewing
Pollyanna Brewing provided an incredible setting for our first event.
Our group had a private space overlooking the brewery, complete with our own bartender, giving everyone plenty of room to move around, grab a drink and have conversations in a relaxed setting.
It was casual, fun and exactly the kind of atmosphere we want these events to have.
A big thank you to Pollyanna Brewing Company for helping make our launch night such a great experience.
People Came From Across Chicagoland to Support the Launch
One of the most exciting parts of the evening was seeing how far people were willing to travel to support the new group.
We had attendees come in from Chicago, and even professionals from Geneva who made the trip to Lemont to be part of the launch.
That meant a lot to us.
It showed that people are not just looking for networking events close to home. They are willing to make the drive when they know there will be a great group of people in the room and an opportunity to build meaningful business relationships.
Thank You to Eric Himes and The Inspired Culture
We were excited to once again have Eric Himes of The Inspired Culture join us and support the event.
Eric is helping bring the upcoming Leadership Summit to Naperville on November 16 and 17, bringing business leaders and professionals together for two days focused on leadership, growth and development.
If you are interested in attending, use promo code CUECAMP50 to receive 50% off your ticket.
Eric also brought something special for attendees last night.
He brought several copies of his new book, The Empty Chair, and personally signed each copy for the people who received one.
It was a fun surprise and gave attendees another opportunity to connect with Eric personally.

Thank you, Eric, for continuing to support our networking community.
“When Is the Next Event?”
One of the best signs that the night was a success came before the event had even ended.
People were already asking:
“When is the next event?”
We were happy to tell them they do not have to wait very long.
Our next event is Thursday, November 12 from 5:30–8:00 PM with the Naperville Business Network at Tesla Naperville.
And this one is going to be a lot of fun.
Attendees can expect:
-
Catered food and small bites
-
A bartender serving drinks
-
Plenty of open networking
-
The opportunity to experience Tesla’s latest model
-
Eric Himes will be signing his book
-
And one lucky attendee will have the opportunity to take a Tesla home for the weekend
The response in the room was immediate.
People were excited, asking questions and even grabbing their tickets on the spot after we announced it.

A Great Start for Orland Business Network
The room was filled with conversations, introductions and people looking for ways to help one another.
And perhaps most importantly, people were already asking when they could do it again.
That is exactly the kind of community we want to build with the Orland Business Network.
Not networking for the sake of networking.
But opportunities to meet the right people, develop real relationships and create connections that continue well beyond one event.
Thank You for Helping Us Launch Orland Business Network
Thank you to everyone who came out to Pollyanna Brewing and helped make our first Orland Business Network event such a success.
Whether you came from Lemont, Orland Park, Chicago, Geneva or somewhere in between, we appreciate you showing up and helping us launch something new for the southwest suburbs.
This was only the beginning.
We cannot wait to see where the Orland Business Network goes from here.
And judging by the number of people who were already asking about the next event…
We think we are off to a pretty great start.
